Antipasto & dips

Serving with a selection of dips, slow roasted tomato, olives, sour cream, hummus.

Beef & Horseradish

Smothering them in horseradish and wrapping with thinly sliced rare roast beef.

Tip: The horseradish will make the breadstick soggy if not consumed straight away. Your guests might like to create their own.

Blue Cheese Dip

Serve with a creamy blue cheese dip and sparkling white wine.

Camembert

Dipping them in hot baked Camembert.

Tip: If baking the camembert in it's box (advisable unless you have a porcelain camembert baker) purchase a brand which comes in a wooden box, rather than a cardboard one. It should be baked for no longer than 15-20 minutes as it may start to re-solidify if baked longer.

Chocolate Fondue

Dip in a chocolate fondue and let your partner have a nibble.

Prosciutto & Rocket

Wrap with a few rocket leaves and thinly sliced prosciutto.

Tip: Try and source fairly big pieces of prosciutto and rocket, as the smaller pieces are a bit fiddly.

Prosciutto

Smothering them in cream cheese and wrapping in prosciutto for a canapé or starter.

Tip: These need to be prepared and eaten straight away or the cream cheese will make the breadstick soggy, alternatively allow your guests to create their own.

Serving with a great tomato soup, we love both chunky homemade or smooth and creamy…
